Invest 94L Is Moving Through the Atlant: No Severe Threat to Florida

A tropical disturbance known as Invest 94L is traveling over the Atlantic Ocean and might form many days from now. Yet, meteorologists believe it will not affect Florida.

The National Hurricane Center predicts a 10% chance of development in the next two days, followed by a 50% chance in the following seven days as the system moves into a more favorable development environment.

Invest 94L might develop a tropical depression in Atlant

Although it is now traveling through a dry atmosphere with unfavorable conditions for development, the National Hurricane Center predicts it will continue west toward warmer waters.

Gradual development is likely by the middle or end of the week, and a tropical depression may emerge as it approaches the Leeward Islands. If the tropical wave develops into a named storm, the next name on the list is Nadine.
