Kzoo Parks' December to Remember Event Was Cancelled Due to Bad Weather
Kzoo Parks plans to invite the whole Kalamazoo community to Bronson Park on Thursday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m. for "December to Remember," a holiday celebration for Kalamazoo families.
All participants will be able to enjoy free holiday activities, such as complimentary hot chocolate, beneath the winter lights in Bronson Park.
Hot chocolate, gifts, craft bags, and wrapping paper will be available for free while supplies last. The event will end at 6:30 p.m. or when the supplies run out.
The Kalamazoo Valley Museum has provided partial sponsorship for this event. It is free, and while the activities are intended for families with children, all members of the community are welcome.
December to Remember event was cancelled due to the weather
Unluckily, the event has been canceled due to inclement weather.
Instead, community members are invited to visit the Kzoo Parks office (251 Mills Street) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, December 16 through December 19, to pick up a holiday craft bag, choose a gift, and write and send off a letter in Santa's mailbox.
There will also be gift wrap and knitted gloves available. All items are free and available while supplies last.
